Graduation Information

Yes, it is the student’s responsibility to apply for graduation for the term that it is anticipated that all graduation requirements will be met. Apply online in goÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.  From the Student Services tab, click on Apply to Graduate in the Registration Tools box.

The application must be submitted at the beginning of the term in which you plan to complete your graduation requirements. Please obtain, complete, and submit your application by:

October 1st for Fall Term
February 1st for Spring Term 
June 15th for Summer Term

The spring 2025 graduation application will be open January 21, 2025 through April 10. After the February 1st deadline the non-refundable late graduation fee will be charged.

The summer 2025 graduation application is open May 20 to August 8. After the June 15th deadline the non-refundable late graduation fee will be charged.

The fall 2025 graduation application will be open September 4 through November 18. After the October 1st deadline the non-refundable late graduation fee will be charged.

The graduation fee is a mandatory non-refundable $200 fee (a one-time per degree level fee) charged to all graduating students that apply for graduation. This fee covers all expenses associated with graduation. All students are charged this University fee regardless of ceremony participation. If you apply after the graduation application deadline (October 1 for Fall, February 1 for Spring, and June 15 for Summer), a fee of $250 is charged for the late graduation application. This fee is charged to applicants for each degree level: Baccalaureate, Master's, and Doctoral. Fees may be subject to change. Payment is due within 10 business days and can be made in person at the Bursar's Office or online by accessing "My Account" in goÒùÐÔÊÓƵ. A hold may be placed on your account after 10 business days.

Login to your goÒùÐÔÊÓƵ portal. Go to the Student Services Tab. Select Degree Works Evaluation in the Student Tools box. You may also contact your preceptor or the Office of Academic Advising.

Yes, your application needs to be reactivated at the beginning of the term in which you plan to complete your degree requirements.

 **All students enrolled in Fall 2024 classes will defer their commencement ceremony to  Spring 2025.**

Academic Honors listed for Spring 2024 undergraduate candidates’ cumulative grade point averages, are calculated through Fall 2023, and indicate their potential eligibility for honors. After final averages for the Spring 2024 candidates are calculated, honors will be noted on the student’s record. The student who meets the following eligibility requirements upon completion of all degree requirements will be awarded the degree cum laude, magna cum laude, or summa cum laude. At least 64 credits must have been completed satisfactorily at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ prior to graduation for a student’s academic record to qualify for an honors designation. All courses attempted at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ will be included in the following calculations, except courses with P/NC or W (or equivalent) grades. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.950-4.000 will be designated summa cum laude; students with a cumulative GPA of 3.850-3.949 will be designated magna cum laude; students with a cumulative GPA of 3.750-3.849 will be designated cum laude. The calculation of GPA will be taken to three decimal places.
