Course Registration FAQ
Please refer to the FAQ's below to assist you with instructions for 淫性视频 course registration, including registration status, course drops, course withdrawal, course drops, and common registration errors.
鈥 Login to the
鈥 In the portal click on the Student Services tab
鈥 Click the Course Registration link
鈥 From the course registration page, click Prepare for Registration
鈥 Select the term
鈥 Click Continue
鈥 Your student status, academic standing, and holds will be displayed
鈥 If any of these items prevent registration, it will be indicated by a red exclamation point
鈥 If all items have a green check mark, you are eligible to register
鈥 From the course registration page, click Browse Classes
鈥 Select the term
鈥 Click Continue
鈥 Enter your search criteria
鈥 You can search for one or more subjects
鈥 You can search by the course number
鈥 You can search for a keyword
鈥 You can search using the advanced options, such as day of the week, time, campus, instructor, and more
鈥 When all of your criteria has been entered, click Search
鈥 All of the courses that match your criteria will be displayed
鈥 Click on the course name to see more information about the course
鈥 From the course registration page, click Register for Classes
鈥 Select the term
鈥 Click Continue
鈥 Enter your search criteria
鈥 Click Search
鈥 All the courses that match your criteria will be displayed
鈥 Click Add for the course you want to register for
鈥 The course will be displayed in your schedule
鈥 Click the Summary tab
鈥 The course will be listed as Pending
鈥 Click Submit to attempt to register for the course
鈥 If unsuccessful, the reasons why will be displayed in the notification center in the upper right of the screen
鈥 If successful, the course will be listed as Registered in the Summary tab

鈥 For the course which you wish to drop, select Web Drop from the Action dropdown list
鈥 Click Submit
鈥 The course will be listed as Deleted
鈥 From the course registration page, click Register for Classes
鈥 Select the term
鈥 Click Continue
鈥 Search for and add the course you wish to swap
鈥 Click the Summary tab
鈥 For the course you wish to drop, select Web Drop from the Action dropdown list
鈥 Check the Conditional Add and Drop box
鈥 Click Submit
鈥 If unsuccessful, the reasons why will be displayed in the notification center in the upper right of the screen. You will not be dropped from the original course.
鈥 If successful, the swapped course will be listed as Registered in the Summary tab. The original course will be listed as Deleted.
If you find a class that is closed but has a waitlist please follow these steps to add yourself to the waitlist:
鈥 From the course registration page, click Register for Classes
鈥 Select the term
鈥 Click Continue
鈥 Enter your search criteria
鈥 Click Search
鈥 All the courses that match your criteria will be displayed
鈥 Click Add for the course you want to waitlist for
鈥 From the Summary tab select Waitlist from the action drop down box
鈥 Click Submit to add yourself to the waitlist
If a spot becomes available in the course you will receive a waitlist notification email sent to your go淫性视频 email address. You will not be automatically registered into the course. If the term has not yet begun you will have 48 hours to register. Once the term begins (drop/add period) you will have 24 hours to register for the course. Once your waitlist time expires you will not be permitted to register for the course. You may add yourself back to the waitlist.
The plan ahead feature can be used to assist you in creating your ideal schedule of classes for a particular term. You may create a maximum of two tentative course schedule plans per term.
Please Note: Creating a plan does NOT mean you are registered for those courses.

鈥 Search for and add any courses or sections to your plan
鈥 When finished, click Save Plan

鈥 Click Add next to any sections you wish to register for
鈥 In the Summary tab, click Submit to attempt to register

Instructions to withdraw from a course:
-From the Student Services tab
-Click Course Registration in the Student Tools box
-Select Register for Classes and select the term
-From here you can manage your course schedule, select Withdraw from the drop down list
-Click Submit to save changes
-Please check the Academic Calendar for withdrawal deadlines each term.
Repeat Course Questions and Answers

If I earned a grade greater than C- does the grade replacement part of this procedure apply?
No, the new grade replacement procedure will only impact the first five undergraduate courses that a student retakes where the previously earned grade was a C- or below.
How do I repeat a course in which I earned a grade of C- or below?
The student must re-register, pay all appropriate tuition and fees, and satisfactorily complete the course (whereupon a separate grade will be assigned).
How will a repeated course impact my GPA?
All grades earned will remain on the student鈥檚 permanent transcript, but only the highest grade is calculated in the cumulative grade point average for the first five grade replacements.
Is there a limit to the number of courses for which a student can replace a grade?
The grade replacement part of this procedure will apply to the first five distinct courses for which the student reenrolls in a course, where the previous grade was a C- or below. If a student repeats a sixth (6) course, both grades (original and repeated) will remain on the student鈥檚 permanent transcript, and both will be calculated in the grade point average.
What happens if I repeat a course in which my previous grade was a C or better?

What about courses repeated prior to the Fall 2023 term? How are these calculated in my GPA?

Yes, this procedure applies to General Studies Courses provided the courses are identical. The course (s) must have the same acronym and course number (or equivalent course number) as the previously registered course.

This procedure applies to undergraduate students. More stringent restrictions may be determined by individual programs to meet standards recommended by accrediting bodies, statutory regulations, and/or professional societies and must be stated in the University Bulletin, course catalog, or program handbook.
Graduate students should review their program policy and procedures handbook for additional details.
I graduated from 淫性视频, and I want to raise my graduation GPA. Does this procedure apply?
Once a student graduates, if they reenroll, their graduation GPA will not be updated.
What if I am enrolled in a second degree after graduating? If I repeat a course, will the previous grade (C- or below) still count towards my new degree?
Once a course applies to a degree and that degree is conferred, those degree requirements will not be altered.
How many times can I repeat a single course?
The maximum attempts should be three, Courses which result in a withdrawal counts as an attempt. Students can register for a second attempt on their own, but if a third attempt is required, they will have to get permission from their school office before being allowed to register a third time.
Does this procedure apply to graduate students?
Graduate students should refer to the University Bulletin and program handbook for details regarding grade replacement.
I am a dual degree student, does this procedure apply?
Students in accelerated undergraduate-graduate dual degree programs can cumulatively replace grades in a maximum of five (5) courses, with no more than one (1) of those in graduate level coursework.
Does repeating a course impact my financial aid?
We encourage students to review th Satisfactory Academic Progress website and consider speaking to a Financial Aid representative before repeating a course.
Error Messages:
If you encounter this error, it means you haven't met the prerequisite conditions for the course, which could be a minimum grade in a specific course or a minimum test score. To verify your eligibility for the course, please reach out to the department offering the course.
Before attempting to register for the course, ensure that you have achieved the required minimum grade in the prerequisite course or submitted the necessary test score. This will help avoid registration issues related to prerequisite requirements.
This error indicates that some sections of the course, such as lectures, are linked to other sections; ie: labs. These linked sections must be registered for concurrently.
To register, add both courses to your schedule and click the 鈥渟ubmit鈥 button to complete your registration. Remember, all co-requisite sections must be added at the same time to avoid this error.
This error indicates that the course you鈥檙e attempting to register for is limited to students whose major or minor aligns with the field of study associated with the course. If your major or minor doesn鈥檛 match the required field of study, you won鈥檛 be eligible to register for this course.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please refer to the department offering the course. Alternatively, you can select a different section that doesn鈥檛 have restrictions outside your major or minor, or request an override from the department.
If you encounter this error, it means you鈥檙e trying to register for more than the allowed maximum 21 credits. To resolve this, you can either reduce your course load to fit within the 21 credit limit or submit an approved Academic Overload form.
If you encounter this error, it means the course you鈥檙e trying to register for is currently full, but a waitlist option is available. You can choose to join the waitlist and you will be emailed if a spot becomes available.
This error signifies that the course you鈥檙e trying to register for is reserved for students at a different academic level. For example, this error would occur if an undergraduate student tries to register for a graduate-level course.
To resolve this, please choose another course that is suitable for your current academic level.
This error indicates that the course you鈥檙e trying to register for has reached its enrollment capacity. If you encounter this error, it means that the course is full and no more students can be added to the course at this time.
To resolve this issue, please select a different section of the course that is still open and has not yet reached its enrollment capacity.
This error indicates that the course you鈥檙e trying to register for is restricted to students with a specific class standing (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior). If you encounter this error, it means your current class standing does not match the required classification for the course.
To resolve this issue, you will need to wait until you reach the class standing requirement for the course or contact the instructor of the course for permission to enroll.
This error indicates that the course you鈥檙e trying to register for has reached its maximum enrollment capacity, including all available waitlist seats as set by the department. If you encounter this error, it means that both the course and its waitlist are currently full.
To resolve this issue, please search for another section of the course that still has available seats or available spots on the waitlist.
This error indicates that the timing of the course you鈥檙e trying to register for conflicts with another course on your current class schedule. If you encounter this error, it means that the course times overlap or are double-booked.
To resolve this issue, you can either find another section of the course that doesn鈥檛 conflict with your existing schedule, or consider other courses that fit into your schedule without conflicts.
This error indicates that you鈥檙e trying to register for a course that is already on your schedule, essentially attempting to register for the same course twice. If you encounter this error, it means you have attempted to register for a course you鈥檙e already registered for.
To resolve this issue, please double-check the courses you add to your course schedule during registration to ensure they correspond to the correct courses and that you鈥檙e not registering for the same course twice.
This error occurs when you鈥檙e trying to register for a course that is similiar in subject material to another course already taken.
This error indicates you may have reached the repeat limit for the course. Please refer to the Repeat Course FAQ and/or contact the department offering the course.
If you encounter this error, you are not permitted to register at this time. Please check your pre-registration time in the goPortal.
If you are a newly admitted student, you will register during new student orientation.
