Parking Information & Regulations
Parking Rules & Regulations
Parking and Transportation Services has established a clear set of usage guidelines for parking on campus. These rules are designed for efficient, effective, fair and safe usage of the 淫性视频 parking areas. If those rules are not followed, penalties are applied. Become familiar with these guidelines and consequences for failure to comply.
Parking is defined as 鈥渟tationing a vehicle irrespective of the period of time such vehicle is stationed.鈥
Your license plate will serve as your parking permit.
The registration of a vehicle does not guarantee that a parking space convenient for the individual will be provided. The responsibility for finding a legal parking space rests with the motor vehicle operator. Legal spaces are outlined by white lines or will have a concrete parking block.
Any facility owned or leased by 淫性视频 shall be considered part of the campus and all vehicles parking at those locations and/or off-site parking lots shall have the proper parking "permit" applicable to that facility.
University parking lots are not to be used for the storage of automobiles, trucks, trailers, or other vehicles.
The vehicle registrant is responsible for notifying the Parking and Transportation Department of any change in status (commuter moving on campus, staff resigning, etc.) or of vehicle ownership or license plate within 5 days should the change affect parking location eligibility, notification will be sent of the required modification.
University personnel and students having visitors on the campus should inform them
of parking rules and regulations. Registration of a vehicle as a guest/visitor or
temporary permit implies awareness of the University Motor Vehicle Regulations and
the responsibility to adhere to them.
Citations issued to vehicles not properly registered are the responsibility of the
owner/operator of the vehicle.
The registrant is held responsible for any parking violation involving the registered vehicle when he/she is operating the vehicle or when the vehicle is being use by another individual.
Special Needs Parking
Temporary handicapped identification must be obtained from the Parking and Transportation Department in order to park in a stall reserved for the handicapped. A doctor鈥檚 prescription is required. No person shall park a vehicle at any time in a Handicapped Parking Space except those who have been issued special identification tags by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. For less than 30 days special needs parking a temporary handicapped permit that is valid only on University property may be issued by the Parking and Transportation Office.
Motorcycle Parking
For the purpose of these regulations, the terms 鈥渕otorcycle鈥 and 鈥渕oped鈥 are synonymous. In accordance with the provisions of this Section, certain locations are reserved and designated with signage and/or striping for motorcycle parking. Residential students may park motorcycles in residential automobile parking spaces.
Parking Prohibitions
No parking is permitted in areas without painted stalls or concrete parking blocks. No parking is permitted on lawns, driveways, walks, or sodded areas on any part of the campus. No person shall park a vehicle on any road, entrance or exit, or in front of dumpsters, loading zones, fire hydrants or oil fills, pedestrian walkway or any grass area not specifically designated for parking.
Weather conditions do not alter parking regulations unless extreme situations cause an emergency to be declared. Whenever snow has fallen and accumulation is such that it covers the streets or roadways, an emergency shall exist and no vehicle shall be parked on the streets or roadways or portions thereof indicated. The above parking prohibitions shall remain in effect after the snow has ceased until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic.
Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation of this article shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic and any police officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner and/or operator shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.
