Compliance

The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for oversight of the University鈥檚 compliance function to ensure the University meets its obligations under all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditation standards, contractual obligations, and University policies and procedures.  The Office of General Counsel provides centralized and coordinated oversight of compliance through monitoring, communication, and risk assessment.

The matrix provides a list of functional areas of compliance and the assignment of responsibility of such areas to the appropriate division or department within the University. Senior leadership is responsible for managing compliance duties within functional areas and reporting issues to the Office of General Counsel.
