ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Center For Economic & Financial Literacy (SCEFL) aims to promote economic and financial literacy among teachers and students in the New Jersey schools. Our primary mission is to assist K – 12 teachers with content and best practices in pedagogy to enhance learning. Yet students reside in households and households shape communities, so economic and financial literacy is an objective for people of all ages. Financial capabilities—the ability to provision for oneself, one’s household, and one’s community—is crucial to local, state, and national business and economic development and sustainability.
