1998

Frank Gilliam ’98 was sworn in as the new mayor of Atlantic City on Jan. 1, 2018. Gilliam was elected to council in 2009 and was re-elected to his at-large seat in 2013. Gilliam earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.


2003

Jose Lozano ’03 was named the head of the transition team for Governor Phil Murphy. Lozano serves as the chief of staff of Hackensack Meridian Health. In that role, he helped Hackensack University Health Network merge with Meridian Health in the summer of 2016. Lozano also served a decade of public service in New Jersey and Washington, D.C., working for U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Gov. Jon Corzine and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson. He earned a B.A, in Political Science from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Christy Morrison ’03, a sixth-grade science teacher at William Davies Middle School, was named Teacher of the Year. Morrison has been teaching at Davies for 13 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in Zoology from Michigan State University, a bachelor's degree in Teacher Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ, and a master's degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Rowan University.


2011

Sean Haugh '11 and Diana (Reitz) Haugh '15 exchanged their wedding vows on the docks overlooking the bay at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City on Nov. 25, 2017. The reception followed at the Yacht Club where several ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ alumni were in attendance. The couple, who met in Sea Isle City, currently reside in Somers Point, N.J. Sean earned a B.S. in Business Studies with a concentration in Finance from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ and works as a project manager at Hanlon Investment Management. Diana, who earned a B.A. in Secondary Mathematics from Elizabethtown College, received a M.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ in 2015. She teaches mathematics at Wildwood High School.

James Raczkowski '11, an Iraq veteran, recounts and reimagines his experiences of combat through his paintings. Raczkowski, whose artwork is on display in the ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Art Gallery through March 28, discussed his art during a walking gallery talk and reception with Associate Professor of Art Jacob Feige on Feb. 1 in the lower gallery. In 2016, Raczkowski painted portraits of each of ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ’s former presidents, which now adorn a wall in the Campus Center. He earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

2014

Aubrey Corbett '14 is a third year naturopathic medical student at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Corbett is training as a primary care physician in modalities including pharmaceuticals, herbal medicines, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, nutrition and minor surgery. In December 2017, she traveled to Cape Haitien, Haiti, with Naturopaths Without Borders (NWB). NWB is a nonprofit organization that brings medical care to various locations around the world, primarily in Haiti and Thailand. Corbett earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Holistic Health from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.


2017

Sarah Cruser was recently hired to teach basic skills at Port Republic School. Cruser earned a B.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Shannon Dallas was recently hired to teach math at Oakcrest High School. Dallas earned a B.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Michael Kenney was recently hired to teach Basic Skills Math at Pitman Middle School. Kenney earned a B.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Mary Millard was recently hired to teach second grade at Glenwood Elementary. Millard earned a B.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Andrea Reder was recently hired to teach third grade at Middle Township Elementary. Reder earned a B.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Cassandra Rehm was recently hired to teach math at Williamstown High School. Rehm earned a B.A. in Education from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Jordan Ramos-Farhat completed coursework toward a Business Studies degree with a concentration in Marketing in December 2017. He was recently hired as a social media coordinator for Samsung SDS America.
