1976
Richard Monahan ’76 is the deputy program manager for design on the $2 billion Green Line Extension (GLX), the new subway line from Lechmere Station to Tufts University in Boston. Monahan received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.
1978
Jean Abbott ’78, associate professor of Business Studies, Accounting, recently received the Volunteer Award from the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). Abbott was one of 39 recipients selected to receive the newly created award. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.
1986
Diane Fox ’86, certified public accountant, was named president-elect of the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials (NJASBO) for 2018-2019. Fox is also the Middle Township Board of Education Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Fox received a B.S. in Accounting from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ. She is currently completing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
1989
Alan Walker ’89 is the chairman of the Freehold Township Parks and Recreation Commission. In 2018, the Commission and Superintendent of Recreation received an award from the New Jersey Parks and Recreation Association for excellence in design of public use recreation and park facilities which exhibited aesthetic quality, uniqueness of design, usability and versatility. Walker received a B.A. in Business Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Katherine Rondeau ’92 is currently on her own southern folk music tour. Rondeau was the former ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ
University Argo editor-in-chief and WLFR.FM ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Radio Station DJ. She received
a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.
1995
David Reiss ’95 was offered a position shortly after graduation at the Department of the Treasury within the Deputy Chief Financial Officer’s Office, the same organization he interned with through ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ's Washington Internship Program and the Washington Center. This is also where he worked while earning a master’s degree in Finance from George Washington University. From there, Reiss was asked to help start up the Department of Homeland Security in March 2003. In 2016, he was picked for a position as a Supervisory Financial Analyst in the Marine Corps at the Pentagon where he manages the funding requests from Congress for more than $8 billion a year for our Marines around the world. Reiss received a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Dr. Jason Palermo ’99, a board-certified cardiologist, recently joined the Heart House Marlton office while also taking patients at the Virtua Marlton Hospital and Virtua Voorhees Hospital. With 15 years of experience in the field, Palermo specializes in non-invasive cardiology, while advocating for ways to ward off heart disease. Palermo received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Dr. Sean McQueeney ’02 /M.P.T. ’04/D.P.T. ’09 recently accepted a position with the Chinese Olympic Committee working with the table tennis team. McQueeney received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.
2004
Amanda McCullough ’04 joined ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ's University Relations & Marketing team as a professional services specialist. In her new role, McCullough assists in the development, production and distribution of University publications and special projects, including ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ News and ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Now. She previously managed public relations and social media at Atlantic Cape Community College for four and half years. Prior to that, she worked at The Current Newspapers for 10 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt ’05, head of Suasion Communications Group and ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ adjunct instructor, has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a 2018 Top Full-Service Marketing Agency for the second year in a row. Adelizzi-Schmidt received a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Francesca Lynch ’08 was appointed as a marketing associate with Community Professional Loudspeakers. Lynch has eight years’ experience in the food and beverage industry using the skills she gained through her Business Studies degree from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ and her master’s degree from Georgian Court University.

Samantha Whitehurst (Cary) ’13 and Phil Whitehurst ’15 tied the knot in a destination wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee on August 18, 2018. The pair, who met at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ, currently reside in Williamstown. Samantha earned a B.A. in Communication Studies at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ and currently works as a marketing coordinator at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ's University Relations & Marketing. Phil earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Education at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ and currently teaches mathematics at Kingsway Regional High School.

Hannah Pretz ’14 studied the forces of evolutionary, geologic and social change and contributed to sustainable solutions for an archipelago in Galápagos in summer 2018. Pretz, a school programs manager at Brandywine Zoo, lives in Wilmington, Del., and is a graduate student in Miami University's Global Field Program. She received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.
Ronald DeFelice ’14 and Taylor Reeves ’15 got engaged during the Atlantic City BeachFest Concert on July 1. DeFelice received bachelor’s degrees in Teacher Education and Psychology; and Reeves received a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Paula Heffley ’16 has joined Marsolluna Media & Marketing, LLC, as its new social media manager. She works alongside fellow alumna Leslie Jespersen '11, founder and CEO of Marsolluna Media & Marketing, LLC, to support businesses in the local community. Heffley received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, and Jespersen received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, both from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.

Kyle Carrier ’17 has been hired as a project coordinator in the SOSH Architects Atlantic City office. Carrier, who previously worked as an architect drafting consultant with SOSH Architects, received a B.S. in Business Studies from ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.
