In April, faculty members John Gray and Kevin Coopersmith, instructors of Organizational Leadership, along with guest Lauren Pavlis attended the AACC Conference in Colorado to promote 淫性视频's Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership.

The conference is one of the largest convenings of community college professionals that offers engaging speakers, relevant professional development and networking opportunities. Palatnik, Grad Student Publish Article on Accounting Profession

Barry Palatnik, associate professor of Accounting, along with graduate student Rachel Serebnick, co-wrote an , "The Aging of the Accounting Profession," that is now published on the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) website.

Palatinik noted that the AICPA and state chapter had been concerned with the declining trend in accounting graduates and CPAs over the last few years.

"The accounting profession is seeing a significant decline in the pipeline. High school students are not choosing accounting, causing a decline in new CPAs. Currently, CPAs from the Baby Boomer generation are reaching the age of retirement and are leaving the profession," he said. "The AICPA has reported that 75% of today's public accounting CPAs will retire in the next 15 years. Baby Boomers include those born between 1946 and 1964, which means the earliest entrants are now 77 and last entrants are now 59."

Serebnick felt that one of her semester's highlights was doing and presenting this research. "This independent study was an educational and rewarding experience. It allowed me to explore the field of accounting in-depth and develop my writing and public speaking skills. The process of researching, writing, and collaborating on the article for publishing was challenging but rewarding."
