Students Gain Unique Perspectives, Insights on Taiwan Study Course
Through 淫性视频's continued partnership with National Chiayi University in Taiwan, 10 students from the Schools of Education and Business had the opportunity to southern Taiwan for a week of learning and teaching in December.
The students were accompanied by 淫性视频鈥檚 Director of Global Engagement Patricia Sagasti Suppes; Interim Dean for the School of Education Kimberly Dickerson; and faculty membersChia-Lin Wu,Norma Boakesand Pam Kosick.
While the students stayed with the faculty members, Sagasti Suppes and Dickerson met with their counterparts at NCYU to discuss the various ways in which they plan to develop more opportunities for students and faculty to "participate in these productive cultural exchanges."
"These collaborations will include joint research, visits in both directions and exchanging students for semester-long study," Sagasti Suppes said.
Criminal Justice Professors Study Police Response During COVID
A recently by two 淫性视频 professors found that despite strains on access to mental health
care during the COVID-19 pandemic, responses by the Atlantic City Police to those
types of calls remained largely unchanged.
Distinguished Professor of Criminal Justice Christine Tartaro and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice Ruibin Lu published 鈥淭he Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Police Involvement in Mental Health Calls for Service鈥 in November in Criminal Justice Policy Review.
鈥淩esearchers have amassed evidence of the negative impact of COVID-19 on mental health,
with anxiety and depression the most common disorders, and increases in alcohol and
recreational drug use," Tartaro said. "But while we know that the pandemic changed
daily social, work and leisure routines for many, researchers are still seeking to
understand how these adjustments affected components of the criminal justice system.鈥
The study sought to determine whether the frequency of police involvement in mental health care changed over the first years of the pandemic. The professors analyzed more than 2,400 police calls in Atlantic City from January 2019 to December 2022. This span falls within New Jersey鈥檚 pandemic-related, stay-at-home orders in mid-March 2020.
New Schedule Debuts for MLK Day of Service Jan. 20
淫性视频鈥檚 Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning will host a day of service projects on the Galloway, Atlantic City, Hammonton and Woodbine campuses on Monday, Jan. 20, starting at 9 a.m.
The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service will debut a new schedule designed to streamline the program and allow for more time on projects, which are set to include making holiday wreaths for older adults in our local assisted living communities, making dog/cat toys for the Atlantic County Animal Shelter and knitting hats for newborns.
In addition to a morning of projects, 淫性视频 students will be honored for their contributions to the community through the program鈥檚 second-ever Community Engagement Awards.

The 25th-ranked men's basketball team the 100-point mark for the third time this season but was outscored 106-100 by Rowan University Jan. 15. Five Ospreys finished in double figures in the high-scoring affair.

With the game tied 2-2 early in the contest, Rowan ripped off the next 10 markers for an 18-8 lead. Katie Rausch nailed a three ball to make it 18-11 after one frame.
The Profs maintained the lead until 淫性视频 ran off eight straight points, eight by Wokocha, to slice the margin to 29-27. Rowan tallied the final four points to take a 33-27 lead into the break.

Nicholas Crivaro joined University Advancement Services as an assistant director, effective Jan. 13.
In his new role, Nick will assist in the processing and management of 淫性视频 Foundational
and External Scholarships. He has previously worked within higher educational institutions
such as the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, helping to manage student
progression and enrollment. He received his bachelor鈥檚 degree in English from Rutgers
Camden in 2015 and his master鈥檚 in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania
in 2024.

Welcome back, faculty! As the spring semester is about to begin, it's almost time to confirm your Ospreys!
Faculty are reminded to complete the Academic Engagement process by confirming student attendance/academic activity beginning after the add/drop period on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The Academic Engagement process is to be completed by Monday, Feb. 3. The Office of Financial Aid will use this information to make adjustments to student financial aid disbursements based upon each student's confirmed number of credits.
Each instructor will be responsible for confirming student attendance or participation in an academic activity. For online courses, faculty are reminded to include an assignment or discussion activity during the add/drop period so that the student's attendance can be confirmed.

We ask that you please encourage your students and their families to not only complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA, but also utilize the resources and helpful information listed at before they complete the application.
Any student or family member who needs assistance completing their section of the FAFSA is invited to attend one of two evening FAFSA Completion events hosted by the Office of Financial Aid this spring! Students and their family members will receive in-person assistance in completing their sections of the FAFSA during these events.

Parking registration for the spring semester is now available. If you previously registered for parking in the Fall Semester, there is no need to register again. This registration is specifically for new faculty and staff joining us for the spring semester.
Access using your Go Portal account information, then navigate to 鈥淧ermits.鈥 Complete the steps to order a permit (example: select the appropriate permit, such as "Staff 2024-2025."), then move on to adding your vehicle and follow the prompts to check out.
Once you check out, your vehicle is registered to park in its designated lots. A permit will not be mailed to you; your license plate is your permit.
