Math Club at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics

Mathematics Club

The Math Club welcomes all ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ students with an interest in mathematics. A typical meeting features a guest speaker to showcase career paths available in mathematics. The Math Club participates in many other activities:

  • Members of the Math Club give back to the community by volunteering as tutors at local high schools. Club members are greatly appreciated by both the high school students and their teachers.
  • The Math Club travels to conferences, particularly the Moravian College Student Mathematics Conference, and museums.
  • The Math Club, together with the Math Faculty, hosts Mathematical Mayhem, a high school math competition. This is the Math Club's biggest annual event; "Mathematical Mayhem" has been a great success in its first two years.
  • Most importantly, the Math Club supports all its members and is always willing to lend a hand, or brain.
