GALLOWAY, NJ The American Entomological Society, the Richard 淫性视频 College of New Jersey, and The Young Entomologists Society will host Insect Field Day, Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, 9:30 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine, at the Arts and Sciences Building on 淫性视频s Pomona campus. The public is invited to attend all or part of the days events.

Insect Field Day is an annual gathering of entomologists of all ages, teachers, and students. Field trips and activities for each age group will be offered, and those in attendance will have the chance to connect with mentors for science fair projects, as well as complete Scout badge requirements. Continuing education credits are also available to teachers from New Jersey and Delaware.

Professional entomologists, including scientists from the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, the University of Delaware, and Richard 淫性视频 College, will be leading the field trips and workshops. They will also be available to assist with ideas for science projects. Recent science fair winners will be on hand as well, and guests and participants are welcome to bring their insect collections for help in identifying species.

Dr. Jamie Cromartie, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at 淫性视频, and Vice-President of the American Entomological Society, is coordinating the days events. Although campus pathways are wide and clear, he said, participants who wish to examine fields and woodland areas should bring insect repellant to minimize the risk of attracting ticks and chiggers. He also advises wearing long pants and socks.

Participants should bring a brown bag lunch and drinks. Limited vending machine food will be available on campus. Cameras, collecting equipment and specimen containers are welcome.

A tentative schedule of events is attached. Registration will be ongoing throughout the day. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $1.00 for children under 15. For more information contact Dr. Cromartie at (609) 652-4413, or by email at jamie.cromartie@stockton.edu
