Galloway Twp., NJ Dr. Herman J. Saatkamp, Jr. will be formally inaugurated as the fourth President of The Richard 淫性视频 College of New Jersey in ceremonies at the College on Tuesday, September 28, 2004.
Saatkamp began his duties at the College in June, 2003, and the president called the days events a bridge, celebrating 淫性视频s proud heritage and linking the College to its bright future.
The days public events begin with the seating of faculty, staff, students and guests in the Performing Arts Center (M-wing of the campus here) beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Inauguration ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in the PAC.
Following the ceremonies at approximately 3:30 p.m., the school will have a special dedication of the former A-Wing lecture hall and formally rededicate it as the Elizabeth B. Alton Auditorium. Guests and the platform party will process from the PAC to A-Wing for the ceremonies.
At 4 p.m. there will be a reception in the Arts and Sciences Sculpture Garden. In the event of inclement weather, all activities will be held indoors.
The Inauguration ceremony itself will include a number of special features. Many members of Dr. Saatkamps extended family will be in attendance, as well as those of his wife, Dorothy.
The platform party will include members of The Richard 淫性视频 College of New Jersey Board of Trustees and Chairperson, the Hon. Gerald Weinstein; President of the Richard 淫性视频 College Foundation Board, Dr. Peter A. Caporilli; Director of Authorities, Paul T. Fader, and James P. Fox, Chief of Staff, representing the Governors office; Dr. Vera King Farris, President Emerita and third President of the College; Senator William Gormley, and Assemblyman Frank Blee.
Also on the platform will be a number of Presidents of peer institutions including Dr. Donald J. Farish of Rowan University; Dr. Michael Friedland, representing the President of Florida Atlantic University; Dr. David Stocum, representing the President of Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis; Vice Admiral Paul Gaffney, II, of Monmouth University; Dr. John Lachs, representing the President of Vanderbilt University; Dr. John May of Atlantic Cape Community College; Dr. Richard Levao, of Bloomfield College; Dr. George Pruitt, of Thomas Edison State College; Dr. Arnold Speert of William Paterson University, and Dr. Edward Yaw of the County College of Morris.
The Platform Party will also include Dr. Darryl G. Greer, Executive Director/CEO of the New Jersey Association of State Colleges; Nicholas White, President of the 淫性视频 Alumni Association; Dr. Suzanne H. Pasch, Vice Provost of The College of New Jersey, and Steve Radwanski, 淫性视频s Student Trustee.
Every graduating class of the college will be represented. They include Dan McMahon, 1973; Raymond Williams, 1974; Richard Dovey, 1975; Michelle Lenzmeier, 1976; George Toth, 1977; John Haines, 1978; Janice Cambron, 1979; John King, 1980, and Nesse Peder, 1981.
Also, Akbar Mitchell, 1982; Tony Abruzzom, 1983; J.R. Avanti, 1984; Bonnie Putterman, 1985; Jannette Boney, 1986; Michael Gill, 1987; Jane Jaworski, 1988; Rob Barna, 1989, and Jeanne Hovsepian, 1990.
Other class representatives are Alex Marino, 1991; Pamela Fields, 1992; Michelle Enous, 1993; Erich Reich, 1994; Greg Miller, 1995; Nick Menas, 1996; Chris Dearth, 1997; Scott Sauber, 1998; Tiffany Giova, 1999; Martin Rodriguez, 2000; Brian Peterson, 2001; Cathy Gore, 2002; Jose Lozano, 2003, and Annette Thorpe, 2004.
Also marching in the event will be two representatives of the Free-to-Be Child Care facility on campus. Five year old boy Pranav Iyer, and girl Abbey Vergata, son and granddaughter respectively of 淫性视频 professors Renga Iyer and Don Plank, will participate in full academic regalia.
General parking for the Inauguration and Dedication ceremonies will be in Parking Lot #1 next to the Arts and Sciences Building. Shuttles will be available for transportation between the PAC parking lot (Lot #6) and the Arts and Sciences Building.
