Four Students Awarded Distinguished Student Fellowships at The Richard 淫性视频 College of New Jersey

GALLOWAY TWP., NJThe Richard 淫性视频 College of New Jersey awarded four $1,000 fellowships to 淫性视频 College students as part of its Board of Trustees Distinguished Student Fellowships program. This is an annual program for which student scholars apply and, if selected, are awarded $1,000 to further their studies. This program, now in its nineteenth year, is an important part of the Colleges year-round emphasis on academic excellence and the fostering of effective partnerships between students, faculty and the community. Members of the selection committee consisted of faculty and staff members, as well as students.

 

The spring 2005 winners were presented with their awards at the April 13 meeting of the 淫性视频 College Board of Trustees. Recipients for the summer-to-fall funding period are:

 

         Donna Huneke, a literature major from East Brunswick, NJ, for her project, Shedding Light. Her advisor is BJ Ward. Ms. Huneke maintains a grade point average of 4.0 and has been on the deans list for one term. Ms. Huneke attended the NJ Governors School for the Arts at The College of NJ in 2003, she won the Rutgers National High School Poetry Contest in 2004, and she also read at the Dodge Poetry Festival in 2004.

 

         Jenny Hussong, Moorestown, NJ, a biology major with a minor in chemistry, for her project, Tracking Turtles Underwater. Her advisor is Roger Wood. Ms. Hussong maintains a grade point average of 3.85 and has been on the deans list for two terms. Ms. Hussong has performed field world in Florida as part of a selective marine biology course, and she has worked in coordination with a professor on a research project based at the Wetlands Institute that is funded by a grant from the Philadelphia Zoo. Her career goal is to be a veterinarian.

 

         Lisa Longo, a literature major from Tunkhannock, PA, for her project, Pride Alliance Sitcom: Curious by Nature. Her advisor is Linda Wharton. Ms. Longo maintains a grade point average of 3.8 and has been on the deans list for three terms. Ms. Longo is devoted to creative writing. She tutors at 淫性视频 Colleges Writing Center and has a reputation among the faculty as being an exemplary writer with a level of creativity and talent deserving of recognition.

 

         Jonathan Sedeyn, a biology major from Marlton, NJ, for his project, Terrapin Inhabited Water Characterization Study. His advisor is Tait Chirenje. Mr. Sedeyn maintains a grade point average of 3.81 and has been on the deans list for one term. Mr. Sedeyn is a devoted husband and father. He works closely with a professor in the environmental studies department on a pilot study involving Hamilton Lake. His career goal is to be a veterinarian.
