Galloway, N.J. 鈥 淫性视频 welcomed four new members to its Board of Trustees at the May 3 board meeting, including Kristi Hanselmann, Amy Kennedy, Timothy J. Lowry and Stephanie Lutz-Koch.

The board also recognized outgoing trustees Andy Dolce, Leo Schoffer and Meg Worthington, and student trustee Liliana Morales.

鈥淲e are so grateful and thankful for their service,鈥 said Raymond Ciccone, board chair.

The new trustees include:

Kristi HanselmannKristi Hanselmann

Kristi Munro Hanselmann was born and raised in Little Egg Harbor Township, where she and her family own and operate Munro鈥檚 Marina Inc. Hanselmann earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Economics from The College of New Jersey, where she interned at the State Capitol building during her studies, which helped her form a deep passion for public service. A resident of Mullica Township and mother of three, she held positions on the Mullica Township Recreation Association, the Mullica Township Planning Board the Mullica Township School Board of Education, and the Mullica Township Committee, including roles as committee member, deputy mayor and mayor.

Amy KennedyAmy Kennedy

As a former educator with more than 10 years鈥 experience in public schools and a mother of five, Amy Kennedy is an advocate for youth mental health. In addition to her work with The Kennedy Forum, a nonprofit that works to advance sound mental health policies, she is passionate about addressing social determinants of health at the local level to forge a better path forward for all. A respected thought leader and public speaker, Kennedy also sits on several national boards, including Gracent, Effective School Solutions, TCare, and Parity.org, and serves as an advisor to Mental Health America, JED Foundation, Equip and others.

 

Tim LowryTimothy J. Lowry

A partner at DLA Piper, Timothy J. Lowry provides legal and strategic advice to domestic and multinational clients in the gaming, entertainment and hospitality industries. Lowry has represented numerous clients, including Hard Rock Atlantic City, Caesars Entertainment, Las Vegas Sands and Tropicana Entertainment. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall School of Law and a bachelor鈥檚 in Political Science from Saint Joseph鈥檚 University. He is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.

 

Stephanie Lutz-KochStephanie Lutz-Koch

Stephanie Lutz-Koch is a senior manager at Deloitte Consulting, LLP, focusing on Human Services Transformation. She works with state and city governmental administrations, education institutions and health care entities to build innovative solutions that efficiently preserve the human element of service and systems. Previously, Lutz-Koch was the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. Under her leadership, the organization received a multimillion dollar grant by the Casino Reinvestment and Development Authority, developed Atlantic City鈥檚 STEAM Strategy with Apple, Adobe and Google, and launched a dual-enrollment program at local colleges for first-generation students. She received an MSW from Temple University and a BS in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.

Approved Tuition & Fees

Tuition and fees at 淫性视频 will increase 2% for the 2023-24 academic year and summer 2024 session, subject to the approval of anticipated allocations in the state budget.

In-state, full-time undergraduate students will pay $7,766 per semester for up to 20 credits, a 2% or $172 increase, under the tuition and fee structure approved by the Board of Trustees.

The university鈥檚 flat-rate tuition plan allows full-time students to take up to 20 credits per semester at no additional cost, potentially saving thousands of dollars.

Meal plans will increase an average of 2.5%, depending on plan type. Room rates for 2023-24 were approved by the board earlier this year and vary based on the housing type and location.

Renamed the William T. Daly School of General Studies

The board approved a resolution renaming the School of General Studies at 淫性视频 the William T. Daly School of General Studies, in honor of the late founding faculty member who died Jan. 31.

鈥淏ill Daly was the personification of the founding vision of 淫性视频,鈥 President Harvey Kesselman said. 鈥淗e embodied 淫性视频鈥檚 purpose. Over 40 years he taught thousands of students in political science and general studies classes.鈥

鈥淚 want to thank President Kesselman and everyone who made this happen. I am overwhelmed. 淫性视频 is his home,鈥 said Daly鈥檚 wife, Nancy, through tears.

Kesselman noted he was in Daly鈥檚 class 鈥淩evolution and the Revolutionaries" as a student, which had a profound effect on his education. Daly coined the term 鈥淭he 淫性视频 Idea鈥 in an iconic essay describing 淫性视频鈥檚 approach to providing 鈥渆lite education for state college students,鈥 according to the resolution.
