Golf Classic Raises More than $58,000

Galloway, N.J. - More than 100 donors and nearly 200 registered golfers helped raise more than $58,000 at the ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Golf Classic at Seaview Hotel & Golf Club on Sept. 27.

We received an outpouring of support from our sponsors and the community, and we are truly grateful," said Daniel Nugent, ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ chief development officer.

The ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Golf Classic was played on the Bay and Pines courses at the historic Seaview Hotel & Golf Club and provides scholarship support for ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ students.

Richard Passarella, Raelynn Genovese, Keith Regn and Bill Johnson were on the top overall winning foursome sponsored by FantaSea Resorts. Ed Guetens, Seth Shapiro, John Webb and Jeff Petrongolo were the top men’s team on the Bay sponsored by Pennoni.

Top sponsors included: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 351, All Risk Property Damage Experts, Glenn Insurance, Inc., Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services, Pennoni, Pennsylvania Trust, Pepsi and SOSH Architects.

The ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Parent and Family Association welcomed ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ supporters to the event and members of the ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ golf team joined tournament players out on the course.  

In addition to this year’s golf classic, ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ was joined by golfers for the third annual golf clinic sponsored by Dr. Barbara Chamberlain, RN, ’90. Leading the clinic was Mays Landing native and PGA professional, Joanna Coe. Coe began the clinic with a putting demonstration and then broke all participants out by skill level for further instruction with local golf pros.
