Council of Black Faculty and Staff Awards Dinner

Galloway, N.J. – The Council of Black Faculty and Staff will hold its 37th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at The Carriage House Grand Savannah Ballroom.  

This year’s honorees have been chosen for their service to ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ, the community, and the state of New JerCouncil Kaleem Shabazzsey. They are:Dr. Walter L. Tarver, III

Lifetime Recipients: Kaleem Shabazz, Atlantic City Third Ward Councilman, and Dr. Walter L. Tarver, III, Assistant Vice President of Transitions and Retention.

Merit Honorees: Diane Epps, retired manager of the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, and DrDiane Epps. Maralyn W. Mason, director of the Educational Opportunity Fund Program.Dr. Maralyn W. Mason

Distinguished ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Alumni: The Rev. Adriane Larau Blair Wise, Minister of Christian Spiritual Formation at the historic Metropolitan Baptist Church, and Raymond Royster, ’05, Owner/Operator of Digital Photos by Ray.

Special Recognition Honoree: Dr. Juanita J. High, retired administrator and member of the ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Foundation Board Rev. Adriane Larau Blaire Wiseof Directors.Raymond Royster

Outstanding ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ Club: Highest Praise Gospel Choir.

The Council’s annual dinner helps support scholarships for ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ students. The Council of Black Faculty and Staff work tirelessly for educational opportunities for African-American students, and other underrepresented student groups at ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ.  

Ticket are $85 per seat, or $850 for a table of 10. Proceeds from this event will support the Council’s Scholarship Endowment for ÒùÐÔÊÓƵ students.
