Hughes Center Student Research Reception
The mission of the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy has been to inform the public about important policy issues and to encourage civil civic engagement. Nowhere is that mission more vital than in the center鈥檚 interactions with the students of 淫性视频.
More than 1,000 淫性视频 students have worked with the 淫性视频 Polling Institute since its inception in 2012, learning about survey research and statistics as well as government and politics. For years, the center has supported the Washington Internship Program by providing $1,000 scholarships each semester to a needy student.
In recent years the Hughes Center has intensified its work with students. Since 2020, the center has taken on at least one student research intern each semester, mentoring students in research methods and publishing their projects on a dedicated student research web page. Research Associate Alyssa Maurice and staffer Darya Hrybava also created videos in 2023 to promote the research of students in the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences. The center has also provided funding to sponsor student research in the Faculty Fellow and the state Wind Institute Fellowship Programs.
The center鈥檚 work with students is made possible by the donations of the Hughes Center鈥檚 generous supporters! The purpose of our Student Research Reception is to thank our friends and supporters and allow them to hear about the work being done from the students themselves. This reception was sponsored by Salmon Ventures Ltd.
