Don't let used batteries go to waste! Our Battery Recycling Program makes it easy to safely dispose of old batteries, preventing toxic materials from entering the environment and conserving valuable resources. Here’s how you can participate:

  • Why Recycle? Batteries contain metals and chemicals that can harm the environment if not disposed of properly. Recycling helps reduce pollution and conserve resources like lithium, nickel, and cobalt.
  • What We Accept: You can bring in all types of household batteries, including AA, AAA, 9V, C, D, and rechargeable batteries (like those from electronics or power tools).
  • Where to Drop Off: Find convenient drop-off bins at the Office of Facilities Management and Plant Operations or enter a workorder to schedule a pick up.
  • Get Involved! Join us in making a positive impact on our community and environment. By participating in battery recycling, you’re helping create a greener future!

Together, let's power the planet sustainably!
